Recap: CIRCMAN5.0 3rd Plenary Meeting in Lugano — Green Deal Dataspace e. V. on site

A few weeks ago, the CIRCMAN5.0 consortium met for its 3rd Plenary Meeting at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland (SUPSI) in Lugano, in a hybrid format with partners on site and online. The two days were marked by constructive discussions, tangible interim results, and clear steps towards the next milestones. Many thanks to our hosts at SUPSI for their excellent organisation and warm hospitality!

On Day 1, partners shared concise updates across all work packages (WP1–WP7) – from project management and circularity requirements through modelling and the impact toolbox to the DPP platform, integration/validation, and communication.
Day 2 focused on the four pilots across the lifecycle (design, production, end-of-life) and preparations for the first review; the day concluded with a joint dinner.

We introduced the Green Deal Dataspace, highlighting the advantages of our infrastructure (interoperable, sovereign, secure) and how we can help the project address its approaches and challenges. We also presented our cluster concept to further strengthen collaboration within the consortium. In addition, we documented the event with photos and video and conducted in-depth interviews.

The plenary brought key topics together and showcased the diversity of approaches within the project. As Green Deal Dataspace e. V., we will continue to support the next steps in a constructive and connective role.
