Four new members join the CIRCMAN5.0 Advisory Board

The CIRCMAN5.0 project has reached an important milestone: Four distinguished experts have joined the CIRCMAN5.0 Advisory Board (CCAB). With their extensive expertise in circular economy, digital transformation, and industrial innovation, they will provide valuable guidance to shape the project’s strategic direction and impact.

Meet our new CCAB members:

  • Dr. Holger Berg – Vice-Director for the Division Circular Economy & Co-Head of Research Unit Digital Transformation at the Wuppertal Institute for Climate, Environment, Energy gGmbH (Germany).

  • John Soldatos – Senior R&D Consultant and Innovation Delivery Specialist at Netcompany-Intrasoft (Greece), Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Glasgow.

  • Septimiu Cosmin Nechifor – Head of Research Group at Siemens Energy (Romania), with expertise in digital manufacturing, IoT, AI, and cloud computing.

  • María José Núñez Ariño – Head of Department at AIDIMME Instituto Tecnológico (Spain), leading research on circular economy, Industry 4.0, and advanced materials.

The first introductory CCAB meeting will take place on Friday, 19 September 2025 (10:00–11:30 CET).
