CIRCMAN5.0: 2nd Plenary Meeting in Dublin

Last week, we had the honor of participating in the 2nd Plenary Meeting of the CIRCMAN5.0 Project in Dublin. CIRCMAN5.0, an innovative initiative funded by the European Commission, is poised to reshape the photovoltaic (PV) manufacturing industry. This project brings together a distinguished consortium of academic and industry leaders.

The project’s core goal is to enhance circularity, sustainability, and efficiency throughout the PV lifecycle—from design and manufacturing to end-of-life recovery. At the heart of this effort is the integration of cutting-edge technologies such as AI, machine learning, and digital twins. These technologies promise to redefine the way we approach PV manufacturing, pushing the boundaries of what is possible in terms of energy efficiency and environmental responsibility.

During the plenary meeting, we engaged in detailed discussions about:

  • Environmental impact assessments to ensure the project’s sustainability goals are met.

  •  Pilot presentations, which showcased the project’s ongoing innovations and results.

  •  Use case scenarios, outlining how these innovations can be practically applied within the industry.

As a member of this collaborative and dynamic consortium, we are excited to continue contributing to a sustainable energy future.
