Project Details 

Many companies in the Steinfurt district, some of which have international links, are dependent on functioning supply chains and trouble-free working conditions. Small and medium-sized enterprises in particular often need support in order to avoid detailed disputes with long value chains.

The “Wirtschschaftliche Resilienz im Kreis Steinfurt (WiRest)” project aims to help with precisely this. The central component is the development of an early warning system on a digital platform. The aim is to increase the adaptability of the local economy and effectively prevent crises.

The “WiReSt” project is funded by the Federal Ministry of Housing, Urban Development and Building in cooperation with the Federal Institute for Research on Building, Urban Affairs and Spatial Development.
